The 14th century parish church of St Martin is the most magnificent Gothic building in Biberach. The interior of the church is entirely Baroque, making it an essential stop on the Upper Swabian Baroque Route. The parish church has served both denominations since 1548, making it one of the oldest churches in Germany to be used by both denominations.

The most beautiful market square in the region? In the heart of the old town, surrounded by magnificent town houses and half-timbered buildings, Biberach's market square more than lives up to its reputation. The market fountain forms the centrepiece of the square, which is transformed into a colourful weekly market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Small cafes and shops invite you to linger and browse. 

The Öchsle is the only remaining narrow-gauge railway in Baden-Württemberg. A nostalgic journey through the meadows and forests of Upper Swabia takes you back in time from Warthausen to Ochsenhausen. The highlight in warm weather: the open summer carriage. The one-hour trip can easily be combined with a cycle tour. Follow the cycle path that runs parallel to the railway line and lean back on the train for the return journey - bikes are carried free of charge.

The Reischenhof Golf Club is located about 25 kilometers from Neu-Ulm and offers a 27-hole golf course. The course is characterized by its varied fairways and well-kept surroundings. The Ulm City Hall, just a few steps from the cathedral, is a magnificent example of early Renaissance architecture with an opulently painted façade. First built in 1370 as a "new storehouse", it was first mentioned as a city hall in 1419. Particularly noteworthy is the astronomical clock on the east side, dating from 1520. The façade is richly decorated with frescoes depicting virtues, commandments and vices.

The Congress Center Ulm is located about 1.1 kilometers from the city center and offers modern conference and event rooms. It is a popular venue for trade fairs, conferences and cultural events and impresses with its central location and proximity to the Danube.

Ulm Minster is a Gothic church in Ulm, Germany, known for its imposing tower, which at 161.53 meters is the tallest church tower in the world. Construction began in 1377 and continued for centuries until the church was finally completed in 1890. The ascent to the viewing platform involves 768 steps and offers a breathtaking view of the Alps in clear weather. Today, the Ulm Minster is an important landmark and a symbol of the city.

The Donaustadion in Ulm, about 1.8 kilometers from Neu-Ulm, is a modern multipurpose stadium that is mainly used for football matches. It can accommodate around 19,500 spectators and is the home of SSV Ulm 1846 Fußball. In addition to football matches, it also hosts athletics events and concerts.

The Ulm Trade Fair Center, about 2.55 kilometers from the city center, is an important venue for regional and international trade fairs and exhibitions. With modern halls and a good infrastructure, it is a central meeting place for business and trade in the region.

The New Golf Club Neu-Ulm offers a 9-hole golf course in a park-like landscape directly on the Danube. The course was opened in 2000 and is ideal for golfers of all levels. The modern facility includes a driving range, practice greens and a pro shop. The club restaurant also offers excellent cuisine. Dogs are allowed on the course and there is ample parking

The University of Ulm, 4.52 kilometers from the city center, was founded in 1967 and is known for its strong focus on the natural sciences, engineering and medicine. The campus is located on the upper Eselsberg and offers a modern research environment and numerous leisure activities for students.

Ravensburg is a medium-sized town as well as district seat and largest town of the district of the same name in the southern part of Upper Swabia, and has well preserved mediaeval towers. The centrally located Marienplatz is the ideal starting point to explore the "town of towers and gates".

The Ulm University of Applied Sciences, about 4.8 kilometers from the center, offers practice-oriented degree programs in the fields of technology, computer science and business. The campus on the upper Eselsberg is characterized by its modern buildings and close cooperation with regional industry.
