Two dog beaches: by the campsite in the north and on Seestraße in the south. From 15 March to 31 October dogs may only go into the water there; from 1 November to 14 March they may do so from all beach access points on the west coast. Follow the signs on site.
From 1 October to 15 May on the whole beach, in summer on three designated sections. In the dunes, dogs must always be kept on a lead.

On Sylt, in Timmendorfer Strand and in The Hague, each municipality has its own beach rules. Outside the bathing season the beaches are largely open to dogs; in summer there are designated dog beaches.
Goslar is on the edge of the Harz, Hermannsburg by the Südheide nature park and Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance. Plan breaks in the shade and stops for water.
Parks near the hotel help with the morning and evening walks, such as the Blaupark in Ulm or the lakeshore in Schwerin.
