Rüsselsheim is centrally located between the regions Rheingau, Taunus and Odenwald. Taunus and Odenwald are low mountain ranges that invite to cycling and hiking. The highest point, Feldberg, is 878 meters. The Odenwald offers with the so-called Katzenbuckel a maximum of 626 meters above normal zero mountain and several forests. The Rheingau in turn is known for wineries and vineyards and merges into the Taunus. With a vineyard area of 3,000 hectares, the Rheingau is one of the most important wine-growing regions in Germany, offering not only numerous culinary treats but also events such as wine festivals, festivals, concerts or artist appearances.
But not only hikers and cyclists get their money’s worth. The cities of Mainz, Wiesbaden and Frankfurt attract with an intense nightlife. Rüsselsheim itself has a fortification from the 14th century, which is now city archives and industrial museum and is located just 2 kilometers from the hotel. Just as far away is the villa ensemble of the Opel family, today an exhibition and event venue.
The most important company in the city of Rüsselsheim is the Adam Opel AG, one of the largest automakers in the world, which belongs to the French group PSA Peugeot Citroen. Development and production are in Rüsselsheim. This location is also just over 2 kilometers from the hotel.

Arriving by car from Frankfurt / Main: Via the Frankfurter Kreuz take the A3 in the direction of Wiesbaden, past Frankfurt Airport to the Mönchhof Dreieck, take the Raunheim / Rüsselsheim-Nord exit and exit. Then take the B43 direction Rüsselsheim / Raunheim and take the second exit towards Raunheim right, drive through Raunheim, behind the EDEKA supermarket, arrange at the intersection on the left, drive into the Bonner Straße, behind the pedestrian lights take the first possible Turn left into Karlovy Vary Street, and then go straight on until you see the hotel on your right.
Coming from Mainz by car: Take the A60 towards Frankfurt via the Mainspitzdreieck. Exit at Rüsselsheim-Königstädten. At the traffic light, keep left, go straight on the first intersection and enter Walter-Flex-Straße, passing it until the end. At the next intersection, turn left, then after the railway underpass take the first possible right (Karlsbader Straße). You will see the hotel on the right.
Coming from Darmstadt by car: Take the A67 in the direction of Cologne / Wiesbaden. Then take the exit Rüsselsheim-Ost. At the intersection, keep left until you turn right at the third intersection into Lucas Cranach Street. At the end of the street turn left into the Waldweg, which turns into the Bonner Straße (after the railway underpass). Then take the first possible street on the right (Karlsbader Straße) until you see the hotel on the right.
Coming from Cologne by car: Take the A3 towards Frankfurt. At the Mönchhof Dreieck exit Raunheim / Rüsselsheim-Nord exit. Then take the B43 towards Rüsselsheim and turn right at the second exit towards Raunheim. Follow the street until the junction Mainzer Straße / Bonner Straße - at this intersection turn right into Bonner Straße. After the pedestrian light, take the first possible street on the left into Karlsbader Straße and drive down until you see the hotel on the right.
By public transport: The Best Western Amedia Hotel is located 3 kilometers from Rüsselsheim train station. Therefore, it is advisable to drive this route by taxi. At the train station you will find several taxi ranks. From the hotel we will gladly book a taxi. With the S-Bahn itself you can reach several times per hour directly from Rüsselsheim Frankfurt am Main, Frankfurt Airport and Mainz and Wiesbaden. The journey is therefore possible from all directions. Frankfurt Airport, Mainz and Frankfurt are also approached by ICEs. The relevant trains are in Rüsselsheim all regional trains, the S8 and the S9.
