Welcome to PLAZA INN Zwickau

Hello to the August Horch city of Zwickau, also known affectionately as “Zwigge”.

The PLAZA INN Zwickau offers 109 rooms, 11 apartments and two suites. The entire outer façade of the hotel was redesigned at the end of 2013.

Our event area has three conference rooms for up to 120 persons. A Greek restaurant pampers hotel guests with Mediterranean specialities.

A summer terrace invites you to linger in good weather. High above the roofs on the sixth floor is the hotel’s relaxation area with a Finnish sauna and a rest room.

The PLAZA INN Zwickau offers free high-speed WLAN in all rooms and in the conference area.

Zwickau is not just an automotive engineering city. It offers a wide range for visitors. It is well-known for its historic centre, for hundreds of lovingly restored Art Deco and Wilheminian buildings and the birthplace of Robert Schumann.

A theatre with three stages and the newly built city hall round off the extensive range of culture.

Our Estia restaurant welcomes you! We are your first port of call in Zwickau for home-made Greek specialities. We are open continuously for our guests and also offer an extensive breakfast buffet. This breakfast buffet is available not just to hotel guests but also to all visitors to our public restaurant. You can pamper yourself with culinary offerings in the restaurant with its summer terrace at lunch or dinner.

How to get to the PLAZA INN Zwickau

Arriving by car

Via the A4 motorway: take the Meerane/Zwickau exit on to the B93 trunk road and continue towards Zwickau. Then follow the signs for Reichenbach. Turn right at the junction of Reichenbacher Strasse and Olzmannstrasse. The hotel is approximately 100 metres after the Reichenbacher Strasse/Olzmannstrasse junction. Via the A72 motorway from Chemnitz: take the Zwickau Ost exit and continue towards Zwickau centre. Then follow the signs for Reichenbach. Turn off right at the junction of Reichenbacher Strasse and Olzmannstrasse. The hotel is approximately 100 from the junction. Via the A72 motorway from Hof: take the Zwickau West exit and continue towards Zwickau centre. Then turn left at the junction of Reichenbacher Strasse and Olzmannstrasse towards Marienthal. The hotel is approximately 100 metres after the junction. 

Arriving with public transport (from the airport and main station)

From the main station / bus station: no. 29 or 181 bus and get off at the Abzweig Neuplanitz stop.
