About Our Hotel
The Hotel Föhr is located in the western part of Friedrichshafen and is easily accessible by public transport and private vehicle.
The hotel was built in 1978 and last renovated in early 2018.
Our 88 rooms welcome you with a modern and stylish ambiance.
Many of our rooms have a balcony, and from the 3rd floor upwards, you can enjoy the stunning panoramic view of the Alps with Lake Constance in the foreground.
We offer our guests free Wi-Fi, which can be used in the lobby, the breakfast restaurant, and the hotel rooms.
Parking is available for a fee, subject to availability. Please inquire about availability upon arrival. You can obtain a parking permit directly at reception. If you are arriving with your bicycle or e-bike, you can store it free of charge in a secure room.
The Plaza Hotel Föhr is located just 200 meters as the crow flies from the shores of Lake Constance, so you can easily start a bike tour along the lake or explore the nearby hinterland.

In addition to the local underwater world of Lake Constance, visitors can also marvel at piranhas, rays, penguins, and turtles, to name just a few of the animals.
Feedings are offered daily between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Using state-of-the-art technology, visitors of all ages can playfully learn about the living conditions of the Sea LIFE Konstanz inhabitants.
In Immenstaad and Kressbronn, adventurers of all ages will find plenty to enjoy at the Adventure High Ropes Courses.
While there are separate climbing courses for toddlers aged 3 and up, experienced and novice climbers alike can indulge in the adrenaline rush on the various high ropes courses, which are marked according to difficulty level.
Those interested in culture can learn about the regional history on various city trips around Lake Constance.
A visit to the historic old towns of Constance and Meersburg is highly recommended. Lindau, on the Bavarian shore of Lake Constance, Bregenz (Austria), Kreuzlingen (Switzerland), and Friedrichshafen offer a vibrant modern culture on Lake Constance.
The Lake Constance Shipping Authority (BSB) offers various boat trips on Lake Constance for those who enjoy excursions on the water, some with special events such as party boats, a dinner cruise to the Bregenz Festival, or special offers on the catamaran from Friedrichshafen to Constance and back.
Experience the Stone and Bronze Ages up close at the Unteruhldingen Archaeological Open-Air Museum.
Here you can visit up to 23 stilt houses, which were tested years ago by local families under realistic conditions to experience what life was like back then.

Zeppelin GmbH
After the Hindenburg disaster in 1937, Zeppelin GmbH ceased building Zeppelins in Friedrichshafen until 1993. During this period, Zeppelin GmbH focused primarily on mechanical and plant engineering. Zeppelin design and construction resumed in Friedrichshafen in 1993.
